SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) -- The Upstate Renaissance Faire has returned for the fifth year, and event organizers said this time it's bigger and better.
For the first time this event is held in Spartanburg and is inviting all fantasy and medieval enthusiasts to the Piedmont Interstate Fairgrounds.
Event organizer, Sharon Murry, said the extra space allowed them to have 100+ food and entertainment vendors and experiences for guests.
"It's so exciting because we started out trying to find something that we could do outside, but to help all these people who lost a lot during the pandemic. It was such a hit, people enjoyed it, and now we're on year five," Murry explained.
