COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa —

A new interactive Council Bluffs police dashboard is now available to the public. The police department said it's part of a larger effort to be transparent with the public.

With the tap of a finger or a few quick clicks, you can see an accurate look at what's going on around Council Bluffs. It's the new "CBPD Watch" data dashboard. It tracks calls for service data in nearly real time.

"What the police department is doing, the nature of incidents, the general locations, our response times, to just keep the public better informed and up to speed on the issues within the city of Council Bluffs," Davis said.
