LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Since the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, people across the country have been shaken.
“I just couldn’t believe it,” said Chiara Mongelluzzo, a freshman at the University of Kentucky.
UK Freshman Troy Galli said he didn't know much about Kirk and didn't agree with Kirk on several issues, but Galli said he was still "shocked" when he heard the news.
"Especially, reading he was 31 years old. Again, he had his whole life ahead of him,” Galli told FOX 56.
People from both the left and the right have condemned this act of political violence.
