HOMEWOOD, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A second person has been arrested in connection to a Walmart fire in Homewood that police say was set intentionally.

According to officials, police and fire departments were called to the Walmart on Lakeshore Parkway at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22 on a fire call.

Authorities determined that a shopping cart full of items was intentionally set on fire inside the score forcing an evacuation.

Police say the store was closed for the rest of the day and over $130,000 was reported by Walmart.

During the investigation, police say say Mercutio Terrell Southall and Lillian Jayne Colburn were identified as suspects.

Southall was arrested Sept. 1 .
