REDDING, Calif. - Glen Stevenson, the man arrested by the Redding Police Department for the deadly crossbow shooting of a man on Radio Lane on Labor Day in Redding, was arraigned in Shasta County Superior Court on Thursday.
The Shasta County District Attorney's Office says that Stevenson has been charged with murder and an enhancement for using a deadly weapon in the shooting.
The Redding Police Department says that Stevenson has an extensive criminal history with law enforcement. According to authorities, Stevenson was out on felony probation for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm at the time of the deadly crossbow incident.
Stevenson is set for a plea disposition on October 14 at 8:30 a.m., followed by a preliminary hearing on October 16 at 9:00 a.m.
