LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - New details are emerging about the alleged shooter who left two women in the hospital on Thursday morning, September 11, in north Laredo.

On Friday, September 12, police announced they were searching for 50-year-old Fernando Gonzalez in connection with the shooting of two women, identified as 42-year-old Veronica Martinez and 18-year-old Perla Esmeralda Montoya Lara , during a violent domestic dispute.

The aftermath of Gonzalez’s alleged actions was discovered when officers responded to a call on Michigan Ave., where they found two women suffering from gunshot wounds. Police report that Gonzalez has two outstanding warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and that he fled the scene before the officers arrived.
