CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A wild ride for Westlake Police as they attempted a routine traffic stop on I-90 westbound, but the driver refused to pull over, leading officers on a high-speed chase.

When police ran the license plate of the fleeing car, they learned the female owner had several warrants for her arrest, including one for felony theft in Lorain County.

Newly released police dash camera and body camera video details the dramatic moments when police used a special PIT maneuver not once but twice during the September 7 traffic stop. Patrol officers also used stop sticks to flatten the suspect’s tires, finally bringing the car to a stop.

As police draw their guns on the female driver, they order her to put down her cell phone and her purse. But she just keeps talking on the phone.
