WASHINGTON TWP. – Nothing was going to stop Macomb Dakota from winning a second straight Macomb County Tournament title Friday.

The weather was perfect and the Cougars – consistent all season at tournament – took advantage, putting together quite a performance at the play-five, count-four tournament held at Stony Creek Metropark Course. State-ranked Dakota (No. 4 in Division 1) won its fourth tournament of the 2025 campaign to go along with a runner-up and two third-place finishes so far this season.
