It’s too bad Vladimir Putin is not a Republican member of Congress. If he were, President Trump might show some strength in response to his provocation in Poland.

The Russian president sent 19 military drones across the Polish border, causing the NATO member nation to scramble fighter jets and shoot down the threat.

It’s just the latest mockery of the Trump boast that he alone could contain Putin’s quest to conquer and rule Ukraine.

Instead of negotiating peace, or even a cease-fire in Ukraine, the Trump-Putin summit produced a delay of U.S. sanctions against Russia and has seemingly encouraged more aggressive and lethal attacks by the Russians.
