Port Lympne is gearing up for an extra special festive season in 2025 with the announcement of a brand new Santa’s Grotto coming this winter. Running from Friday, November 28 through to Tuesday, December 23, the grotto will bring plenty of Christmas magic for the whole family to enjoy.

This year, the Hythe wildlife park is also hosting its first ever Christmas light trail, titled Port Lympne Illuminated . The Santa’s Grotto will stand amongst the twinkling lights and optical displays which are set to completely transform Port Lympne’s 600 acres.

Inside the grotto, children will get a chance to meet Mr Clause with his elves and receive a gift to take home with them. Access to the grotto will be exclusively available to Port Lympne Illuminated ticket holders, guests staying overnight
