CLEVELAND, Ohio — Northeast Ohio’s streak of quiet, sunny weather shows no signs of letting up.

High pressure centered over the eastern Great Lakes will keep skies clear and humidity low through most of the weekend, making for a pleasant stretch of mid-September weather.

Temperatures will run near to just slightly above normal. Highs Friday will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s, with an onshore lake breeze keeping shoreline communities a bit cooler. That will set up perfect weather for high school football in the evening.

The onshore breeze is expected again Saturday, holding spots near Lake Erie in the upper 70s while inland areas warm into the low 80s.

Sunshine will dominate both Friday and Saturday, though a few mid and high clouds may drift in Saturday as a low-pressure system
