MACON, Ga. — In Week 5 of Football Friday Night , several Central Georgia teams came out on top and won big.

Sumter County and West Laurens both won their games 56-0, while teams like Houston County and Crisp County scored a whopping 57 and 66 points, respectively.

Elsewhere, many high-scoring games took place. Trinity Christian defeated Windsor in a 50-35 shootout, while Macon County defeated Crawford County 52-35.

Meanwhile, there were several close games. Gatewood took down Mount de Sales 13-10, Wilcox County won 29-20 over Turner County and Wheeler County beat Atkinson County 30-22.
