Jason Raymond Smith, age 49 of Toronto passed away Wednesday September 3, 2025.

Jason was born April 4, 1976 in Steubenville the son of the late Michael Edward “Butchy” Smith in 2024 and Maray Beth (Forman) Smith in 2006.

Jason was an avid baseball card collector, sports fan and Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was a graduate of Edison High School and the International Culinary Academy of Pittsburgh, PA graduating as an Associate in Specialized Technology in Specialized Culinary Arts.

He was employed at Christopher’s Farm Goods and Provisions as a Chef in Cadiz, OH.

Jason’s survivors include his sister, Cristen R. Smith and his brother, Sean M. Smith; nieces, Phobe and Olivia Smith.

Jason’s arrangements are private and are entrusted to the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
