DALEVILLE — Oxtails, chitterlings, and pigs' feet are on the menu by popular demand as this family-owned, self-described soul food restaurant opens for business on Old Highway 134 in Daleville.
Munchies by Meechies is "the answer to a prayer and a dream come true" for owner-operator Demetria Doster, whose chefs include her father and son.
How it began
Doster has loved cooking since she was a child and worked as a cook at Fort Rucker. "That was really my first official cooking job," she said. "That's where I learned that cooking was really my passion."
