Football: Last minute field goal leads Edgewater past Jones 20

ORLANDO — In the biggest spot of the biggest game of the year (so far), Edgewater senior quarterback Carter Emanuel made the big play.

The UConn commit delivered a perfect throw to Grayson Gibson for a 34-yard gain in the final minute to set up Jacob Lue Pann's game-winning 26-yard field goal as the Eagles beat rival Jones 20-17 on Sept. 12. Emanuel threw a pair of touchdown passes in the win.
