The body of a man has been discovered in a park in East Kilbride . ‌

The grim discovery was made at Calderglen Country Park at 8.10am on Saturday. ‌

Police attended the incident and have confirmed that the death is currently being treated as unexplained . ‌

The circumstances surrounding the incident are, however, not believed to be suspicious.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10am on Saturday, 13 September, 2025, the body of a man was found at Calderglen Country Park, East Kilbride . ‌

“The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious .”
