The strike at multiple University of Minnesota campus appears to be over, with Teamsters leaders announcing late Friday night that a tentative deal has been reached on pay for more than 1,400 custodial, maintenance, food service and sanitation workers.

Teamsters Local 320 announced "the strike is over" to its followers on social media, with President Eric Skoog saying they had received a settlement offer from the state that "meets our demands."

While the details are still limited on the deal itself, the union had been seeking a 3.5% wage increase to align with other U of M union contracts.
