Brian Clough saw one of his Nottingham Forest records broken shortly before his death

Brian Clough once joked "no one likes Arsenal" as he paid tribute to the Gunners for breaking one of his proudest Nottingham Forest records.

Clough famously led the Reds through an incredible 42-match unbeaten run in the top flight from November 1978 to December 1979, which included the First Division title triumph. It took almost 25 years for that record to be broken by Arsene Wenger's 'Invincibles' early in the 2004/05 season, shortly before Clough’s death at the age of 69.
