A woman in her 80s has died after a house in , has reported. The emergency services were called to reports of a fire at a property in Hedben Moor Way on Friday, September 12 at 4.51pm.

attended to extinguish the fire and rescued a woman from inside the house. She passed away a short time later and police confirmed her family had been made aware.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time."

The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The area outside the property was cordoned off until around 2pm on Saturday to allow fire investigators to gather information.
