A stretch of hot weather returns to north Alabama through next week, but at least it won't be humid to go along with it. Mainly dry conditions are ahead as well, although there will be a couple of opportunities for some showers.

Today will be primarily sunny and a little hot this afternoon. Temperatures will reach the low 90s for highs.

A few clouds will roll in tonight. Lows will dip into the low 60s.

Expect partly cloudy skies on Sunday with a slight chance for a late day shower. Temperatures will again reach the low 90s for highs.

Nest week brings more of the same with hotter than average weather for this time of year. Highs will stay in the low 90s all week. Mornings will be comfortable in the 60s.
