PHILADELPHIA — OU football plays its first road game of the season when it takes on Temple at 11 a.m. CT Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field on ESPN2.

The Sooners (2-0) are fresh off a statement win over Michigan last Saturday when quarterback John Mateer accounted for 344 total yards and three touchdowns. The Owls (2-0) are led by first-year coach K.C. Keeler, who spent the last 11 seasons at Sam Houston State.

Through two games this season, OU's defense ranks 19th by surrendering 219.5 yards per contest. Mateer ranks second nationally and first in the SEC with 380 yards of total offense per game.
