HEDGESVILLE - Hedgesville coach Allison Janney wanted to pack as many games as possible into the first part of the season to help her team prepare for the end of the season - a way to sort of test her team.
Through 11 games, the Eagles have passed the test with flying colors, and their unbeaten streak continued on Thursday, as they defeated Jefferson 5-0 to improve to 9-0-2.
"We've worked a lot in the offseason to kind of fix some of the things we had issues with last year, and we still have a strong core, so I think we are doing pretty well with the issues we had and are we're going in the right direction," Janney said.
