A tea room in Cambridgeshire has been the named the best café in the county at England's Business Awards just a year after opening. Husband and wife duo, Shane Fazackerley and Guoli Xu, run Rumpoles of St Ives said it was "a big honour for such a small place" to be recognised at the awards.
Mr Fazackerley said the nomination for the award came "totally out of the blue". He added: "When we got the letter through, we thought 'Who's done this?'. It was done anonymously so we don't know who nominated but obviously, they felt so strongly about the quality that they wanted to. It's great news. It's such a big honour for such a small place and being so new. We're really proud."
Rumpoles of St Ives only opened in August of last year and has managed to create "a loyal fan base" of regulars
