The brave victim of a horrific rape in a park in Oldbury has spoken about her ordeal for the first time to praise the police and her local community.
The woman, in her 20s and of Sikh faith, was walking to work when she was attacked by two men who dragged her into bushes in parkland off Tame Road, close to the nearby M5 motorway bridge.
Her attackers made racist comments before leaving her on the floor after her shocking ordeal. Police are hunting two white men in connection with the violent rape, which occurred just before 8.30am on Tuesday, September 9.
In a statement released through the Sikh Press Association, she has praised her family and community for their love and support.
