Rutgers (2-0) will host Norfolk State (1-1) on Saturday at SHI Stadium for its final non-conference game of the 2025 season.

The contest will mark the return of Michael Vick , who is in his first year as head coach of the Spartans, to a venue where he once put up a historic performance.

As a redshirt freshman quarterback at Virginia Tech in 1999, Vick set a Big East record for completion percentage while leading the Hokies to a 58-20 win over the Scarlet Knights.

“Excited for us to get a chance to travel to New Jersey and play a team that I played in my fourth or fifth college game,” Vick said earlier this week. I will say this: all hell broke loose. But I’m not the one with the ball in my hands anymore.”
