Wisconsin football's offensive line took a major hit in the second quarter of its game against Alabama on Sept. 12 .

Starting center Jake Renfro left the game with what appears to be a lower leg injury on a play that ended with a sack on quarterback Danny O'Neil.

The graduate student was slow to get up and walked slowly off the field with trainers surrounding him. He was already wearing two knee braces.

Later in the second quarter, Renfro was seen on the ABC broadcast trying to go through a drill on the sidelines, clearly looking to test out if he could return.

Renfro had returned this week after missing the Badgers ' Week 2 game with an injury.
