More than a dozen Newfoundland and Labrador companies are part of an Atlantic Canadian delegation attending the Defence and Security Equipment International tradeshow in London, England.

The participation of companies from across the Atlantic region is being supported by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.

DSEI, one of the largest defence industry events in the world, is expecting more than 36,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors. Industry Minister Steve Crocker says the event will help local companies unlock new markets and scale their technologies.

More than 30 companies and organizations representing the Atlantic region’s aerospace, defence and security sectors are attending the event.
