The main hospital complex in the province is making it easier for people to navigate the facilities and find what they’re looking for.

The “wayfinding system” at the Health Sciences Centre Complex is being revitalized says the Health Care Foundation with the help of a $350,000 grant from the RBC Foundation.

Paul Snow, President and CEO of the Health Care Foundation, says accessibility and patient experience is at the heart of the project, so the new system has been designed to ensure that people of all ages, abilities, languages, and literacy levels can access care with ease, clarity and dignity.

The enhancements at the new Mental Health and Addictions Facility are already in place, and broader implementation throughout the complex is underway.
