Abbotsford Police have seized a vehicle and identified a teenage driver after they were clocked going 100 kilometres over the speed limit this week.

It was just one of multiple offences officers saw related to the same vehicle on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

It started just after 10 a.m. when an AbbyPD youth squad officer tried to stop an orange Dodge Charger driving dangerously by Abbotsford Secondary School, according to a social media post by AbbyPD on Sept. 13.

"The vehicle fled at high speed, later nearly causing a collision at a red light."

A short time later, an AbbyPD traffic officer found the vehicle near Rick Hansen Secondary. It again fled, this time through a playground zone, nearly striking the officer's vehicle.
