The Sampson Community College Board of Trustees has decided to keep things as they are, when it comes to public comments in board meetings, as well as the makeup of the board.

Catherine Ezzell-Joyner shared at the board’s Sept. 9 meeting that the policies and personnel committee had met over the past few weeks, and discussed whether or not to change the bylaws with regard to allowing public comments and a representative from the Student Government Association to serve as an ex officio member of the board.
