LSU star linebacker Whit Weeks was ejected for targeting early in the first quarter of the No. 3 Tigers' game Saturday night against Florida .

Weeks came in to help with a tackle on Florida wide receiver Vernell Brown, and they made helmet-to-helmet contact. He was disqualified after video review.

After the call was made, Weeks was visibly upset, yelling multiple times as he paced on the sideline. LSU coach Brian Kelly had a lengthy conversation with him afterward.

Weeks will not miss any additional game time because he was disqualified in the first half. Sophomore linebacker Davhon Keys replaced Weeks.

Florida settled for a 45-yard field goal on its opening drive after the 15-yard penalty.
