PHOENIX ( KPHO /Gray News) - Funeral arrangements have been announced for Charlie Kirk , the conservative activist who was assassinated while speaking at a Utah university earlier this week.

According to Kirk’s Turning Point USA organization, his funeral will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Sept. 21.

Doors will open at 8 a.m., with the program beginning at 11 a.m.

Kirk was killed by a single shot in what police said was a targeted attack, with Utah Governor Spencer Cox calling it a political assassination.
