CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Despite a 4th quarter comeback attempt by the Eagles, the Panthers hung on to earn their second win of the season.

After shutting out Eastern Washington in the first half and building a 10-0 lead, Northern Iowa added another touchdown in the third quarter to build a 17-0 lead going into the fourth quarter.

The Eagles offense came to life in the final quarter of the game, narrowing the lead to 14-17, but the Panthers hung on to win the game 14-17.

After celebrating this win, Northern Iowa will prepare for their next game against Utah Tech on September 20th. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
