ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Mission Continues, a national nonprofit, lent a helping hand to veterans in Florissant.
Mission Continues St. Louis Chapter Platoon leader, Kenric Lynn says the nonprofit takes part in four days of service each year. Saturday’s event in Florissant was in honor of the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack.
“Just here to give back to the community, we’re here to serve and we’re here to be here for each other,” said Lynn.
Dozens of volunteers gathered at the American Legion Post 444 and got to work.
