GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — It's over the river and through the woods — of Riverside Park — for runners participating Sunday in the annual LMCU Bridge Run.

The race has offered West Michigan runners a late-summer challenge through the city of Grand Rapids every year since 2002.

Runners have the option of a 5K or 10-mile race. Both routes trek through downtown Grand Rapids, with 10 milers heading into Riverside Park.

5K participants will cross the Grand River three times between the Blue Bridge, Sixth Street and Bridge Street.

Race Schedule: • 6:30 a.m.: Packet pickup opens • 7:50 a.m.: Opening ceremonies • 8:00 a.m.: Start of 5K & 10 mile runs • 9-10 a.m.: Awards Ceremonies
