Itried the BBQ joint with long queues up for a national award
It's bang on noon on a Tuesday, and people are queuing for barbecue food. A strange sight, but a regular one outside Low and Slow at St Nick’s Market, particularly since the team behind the longstanding bbq joint were nominated as a finalist for Uber Eats' Restaurant of the Year award .
The market is a favourite for office workers and tourists who don’t mind waiting a while to spend a tenner on their lunch. While I don’t quite see the appeal, if you’re going to queue for an expensive feed on a dreary autumnal weekday, it better be good.
Thankfully, Low and Slow was excellent.
