Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) crews are set to begin a number of construction work across the state this week, as state officials continue projects before winter weather sets in.

Upcoming MDOT construction projects

The following construction projects are set to start this week, according to MDOT, with travel advisories in effect:

Long Lake Road bridge work over U.S. 127 in Clare County is expected to start Monday, Sept. 15, including barrier, expansion joint and partial deck replacement, as well as concrete block improvements. The work is a part of a $763,000 project.
