CLEVELAND — An 83-year-old man died after a fire broke out in his Osnaburg Township home on Saturday, the Stark County Sheriff's Office said.

Crews responded to a house on Sunlight Avenue Northeast and found the elderly man inside. There was nobody else in the home at the time, authorities said.

The victim was transported to Aultman Hospital in Canton and later pronounced dead.

The sheriff's office said the fire is not considered suspicious and the investigation into its cause is ongoing.
