NEW ORLEANS – Former Weber State wide receiver Rashid Shaheed got back in the end zone in week two for the first time since early last season.

Shaheed missed the majority of last year with an injury and scored his first TD of the season in the third quarter against the San Francisco 49ers.

The touchdown brought New Orleans within two points of San Francisco.

Through the first three quarters, Shaheed had three receptions for 44 yards and the score.

Prior to his injury in 2024, Shaheed was on pace for a career season. He had 349 yards and three touchdowns through six games. Now with his 11th career TD under his belt, he will look to stay hot within the Saints offense and continue getting in the end zone in 2025.
