Syracuse, N.Y. — In the final home game of the 2025 season, the Syracuse Mets beat the Worcester Red Sox, 7-2, on Sunday afternoon at NBT Bank Stadium.

The Mets remain in second place in the International League second half standings, three games behind Scranton/Wilkes-Barre with six games left in the 2025 season.

Worcester (72-71, 31-38) scored first in the top of the fourth inning. With one out, Abraham Toro singled. Jhostynxon Garcia followed with a two-run home run over the right-field wall that gave the Red Sox a 2-0 lead.
