COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A tough weekend for Palmetto State teams. South Carolina and Clemson have dropped out of the Top 25 in this week’s AP poll.

South Carolina is now unranked after a blowout loss to Vanderbilt , which snapped a 16-game losing streak against the Gamecocks on Saturday night.

South Carolina came in at No. 11 in last week’s rankings.

The Gamecocks were down 14-7 late in the first half when quarterback LaNorris Sellers was knocked out of the game with a concussion.

Clemson also fell out of the Top 25 after falling to Georgia Tech on Saturday. Clemson erased a 13-point first-half deficit and a seven-point fourth-quarter deficit, but Aidan Birr hit a 55-yard field goal as time expired to clinch the win.
