The Texas Tech football team added another four-star prospect to its 2026 recruiting class .

Bryce Gilmore, a 6-foot-5, 297-pound offensive lineman out of Prosper, has committed to the Red Raiders , multiple outlets reported Sunday. Gilmore was previously pledged to Arkansas before decommitting earlier this week.

Gilmore becomes Tech's second-highest ranked recruit in the 2026 recruiting class, trailing only fellow lineman Felix Ojo, who made a big splash with his commitment in July. Texas Tech has used that momentum further, landing a pair of top flight 2027 recruits and adding to its 2026 class.

Gilmore's father, Bryan, is a former NFL wide receiver who played for the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks throughout his pro career.
