A four-goal deficit proved to be too much for the Sudbury Wolves to overcome in a 6-4 loss to the Kingston Frontenacs on Sunday afternoon.

Rowan Henderson, Kimani Eccleston, Vladimir Provorov and Blake Clayton scored for the Sudbury OHLers and Karsen Chartier stopped 14 of 15 shots in relief during pre-season play at Stouffville Arena, home of the Wolves’ affiliates in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Henderson opened the scoring with his second goal of the pre-season just 45 seconds into the contest, but Kingston got markers from Landon Wright, Ty Robar, Andrew Kuzma, Nolan Snyder and Wright once again before Eccleston responded with his first tally in a Wolves uniform at 13:47 of the second period.
