FIRST DOWN: MR. RELIABLE

The first play of the game Sunday for the Detroit Lions' offense was a 34-yard pass and catch from quarterback Jared Goff to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown . It turns out that was a great preview for what was to come in Detroit's 52-21 win over the Chicago Bears.

St. Brown recorded six receptions for 100 yards and a huge touchdown right at the end of the first half to give the Lions a two-score halftime lead. It was the first time St. Brown has recorded 100 receiving yards in the first half of any game in his NFL career. He finished the afternoon with nine receptions for 115 yards and found the end zone on three separate occasions.
