The Indianapolis Colts got a second chance to beat the Denver Broncos on Sunday. A lot of people thought the decisive penalty was bogus.
Broncos linebacker Deondrea Tillman was called for leverage as he made contact with Colts long snapper Luke Rhodes on Spencer Shrader's 60-yard field goal attempt as time expired. The kick went wide right, but the penalty allowed the Shrader another kick from 45 yards. He put that one through, giving the Colts a 29-28 win.
"I gotta go back and watch the film and see what I can learn from it," Broncos Deondrea Tillman said postgame. "I was just playing free and trying to go for the ball."
The leverage call drew a lot of anger online. Looking for a free mini puzzle? Play the USA TODAY Quick Cross now.
