Brian Schottenheimer earned his first victory as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and his players made sure to give him credit after the game.

The Cowboys beat the NFC East rival New York Giants in a 40-37 overtime thriller at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It looked like Dallas was going to fall to 0-2 after Russell Wilson gave the Giants a lead with 25 seconds remaining in regulation by throwing a 45-yard touchdown pass to Malik Nabers, but Dallas kicker Brandon Aubrey had other plans.

Aubrey drilled a 64-yard field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter. He then connected from 46 yards in OT to lift the Cowboys to victory.
