WATAUGA COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Watauga County school officials are responding after a report of a potential threat against one of their schools.

School officials say the threat was made to Watauga High School.

At this time, officials don't believe the threat is credible, but there will be enhanced security at all schools on Monday in addition to operating under its SECURE protocols.

The sheriff's department is still investigating the report.
