Stephen Colbert ’s remaining time on his late night talk show will absolutely be a laughing matter.

As the TV host, who is nominated for Outstanding Talk Series at the 2025 Emmys , heads into his final season helming The Late Show , he emphasized he and his staff are doing do with high spirits.

“We’ve got nine more months of the show and we’re going to have a really food time doing it,” Stephen told Zuri Hall on the red carpet on Live From E!: 2025 Emmys in a joint interview with his wife Evelyn McGee-Colbert . “This show is all consuming—every day. So that’s it for now.”
