South Carolina’s offense took a big hit on Saturday.
Quarterback LaNorris Sellers left the game late in the second quarter after suffering an apparent upper body injury. Sellers was hit by Vanderbilt linebacker Langston Patterson with 1:52 left in the second quarter.
Shane Beamer told SEC Network after halftime that Sellers won’t return to the game.
“He’s done. He will not go the rest of the game,” SEC Network’s Cole Cueblic said of the message Beamer told him.
Patterson was ejected for targeting. Sixth-year senior Luke Doty came in to replace Sellers.— and Doty was leading the offense when the second half began.
Sellers was on the ground for about a minute before being helped off the field. He was sitting on the sideline with no helmet on as the half winded down and headed to the loc
