At 8:08 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a frost advisory valid for Monday between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.
The weather service says to anticipate, "Temperatures between 33 and 36 degrees for 3 to 6 hours will result in frost formation overnight."
"Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," states the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
